So, when I started my bathroom remodel project, I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, other than to add a shower to my existing, simple powder room. I had a vision but no plan or design. RIPTIDE gave me a very reasonable dollar-range / allowance, to select the vanity, toilet, fixtures, tiling, flooring, and other items I wanted. Then, the owner (Rich) guided me every step of the way, providing recommendations to support my vision, and making sure everything was to my satisfaction. Where my input was needed, he always made sure to discuss and confirm with me before proceeding, not making any assumptions. Because of him, I never felt overwhelmed during the entire process. The team assigned to my project had a broad range of skills including plumbing, electrical, drywall, tiling, and all restoration services. You name it, they did it all. All the personnel were extremely professional, detail oriented and hardworking. They did an outstanding job every day of cleaning up after they were done working for the day, ensuring I had no obstructions. That was really appreciated. Of special note: I am a disabled, military veteran and received a Veteran’s Administration SHA (Special Home Adaptation) Grant to fund my bathroom project. The VA has a stringent / rigorous process (application submissions, restrictive payment schedule, inspection phases, rules, etc..) for obtaining a VA Builder Identification code and ensuring the project is going according to plan and cost.
